Our 7 Steps into the Internet world.
First Step: Brainstorm/discuss with your staff on the type of business, service, club, organization, personal site you would like to have. Pick the theme, color scheme, images, and links you would want your site to spring off to. Think of a unique domain name you would want to have for your web site. Go to next step.
Second Step: Subscribe to Alamo Web Hosting. Choose the affordable Premium package that gives you up to 10 pages. If e-commerce is needed choose the Professional. Email us your user ID and password so we could go to work. Once, your site is finished you will be able to change your password. Go to next step.
Third Step: Go to "Prices" Page and choose the Budget Web Site, Starter, Lite or Business Web Site and click on the "Contact Us" link and peovide details for the desired service. These are the only services allowed on the Alamo Web Design Express service. For larger sites, contact us. Click on the "Order Here" link and place your order with your text, images, comments and links here. Go to next step.
Fourth Step: Once paid, I will access your Alamo Web Hosting account and begin building your own web site. I will stay in contact with you throughout the building process. Just make sure you stay within your package you purchased. If an e-commerce account is needed, I recommend PayPal. Click on the PayPal to create Free account. Additional web site needs will be done at a $75.00 hourly fee. Go to next step.
Fifth Step: You will be giving three viewings for any changes you may have. Once, you have expressed your satisfaction then we have completed your site. During this step your Meta Tags will be set. (Very important) These are required so that the search engines can find your site on the Internet. Go to next step.
Sixth Step: At this time your domain name will be connected. You can order your domain by clicking here.Once obtained we will connect your site. Go to next step.
Seventh Step: This is your last step. At this time, signup with Engine Placement for automatic submission to over 800,000 search engines, bulletin boards, FFA's, Classified Ads and Malls. Once set up you do not have to worry about submitting. It is a Set It-N-Forget It Technnology and it is all done automatically. Now your site live! Request a Quote for larger sites. Click here
What we do
Text Pages
A page of text is defined as no more than one 8-1/2 X 11 sheet of paper, 12 pt size font, single-spaced, with 1-1/2 inch margins at top, bottom and sides.
Web Site Content Authoring
Your Web Designer does not write or rewrite content. Your content must be supplied to us written the way that you would like it to appear on your web site.
Web Site Content
Our fees are based on you providing your content to us in electronic format. Written materials may be provided to us in the body of an email, Microsoft Word, WordPad or Notepad format only.
If you provide your content in the form of existing manuscripts, brochures, literature, etc. and you wish to have us process the information, additional fees shall be incurred. Please note that we will not rewrite and/or edit your existing materials/information. Your editing, etc. must be done prior to your submission of your materials. Additional fees shall apply if we must convert printed materials into electronic format.
Deposit
A deposit (payable in US funds) is required to begin all website design projects.
